Nipissing Serenity Hospice (NSH) recognizes the bilingual (French and English) characteristics of the Nipissing and East Parry Sound Districts, and the compelling benefits for residents, clients, and their families to communicate in their own language when receiving care from caregivers. The Hospice is committed to actively offering its services in French to its residents, clients, and families in accordance with the French Language Services Act.
Compliment Process
All compliments regarding French language services should be shared with the French Language Services Program Coordinator (Administrative Coordinator) in person at reception, by phone at 705-995-3377, or by email at oparker@nipissingserenityhospice.ca to ensure that they are documented and shared with the individual in question.
Complaint Process
Our organization carefully and respectfully pays attention to all complaints in order to improve the quality of its French language services. Clients who have not received services in the official language of their choice may lodge a complaint in the official language they choose, either in writing or verbally, including by telephone, and without any form of reprisals.
Do you have a concern to share regarding French Language Services?
- Discuss your concern with the individual in question. Should you wish to be accompanied by someone for support, please advise the FLS Program Coordinator (Office Coordinator) in order for the required arrangements to be put in place.
- Alternatively, fill out an FLS Complaint Form, which will be submitted directly to the FLS Program Coordinator (Office Coordinator). Both the online form and PDF versions can be found below.
- Should your concern still not be resolved, submit it to the Executive Director. The Executive Director will schedule a meeting within 4 working days in order to resolve your concern.
