Hike for Hospice is Nipissing Serenity Hospice’s signature annual fundraiser! Our goal for 2026 is $125,000!
The 2026 Hike for Hospice campaign kicks off in June and ends on Thanksgiving Weekend (October 9-12). Leading up to the date, participants are encouraged to register (individual or a team) and raise funds. On Thanksgiving weekend, celebrate your accomplishments with a hike, walk, run or bike around the block, or in their community with family and friends anywhere, anytime. We will also be hosting an in-person Hike at our Hospice on October 9th from 12pm until 2:30pm.

Hike for Hospice 2026 will take place on Friday, October 9th, with a physical hike and BBQ at the hospice from 12pm-2:30pm. From October 9th to the 12th, participants are encouraged to raise funds online and then hike in their local area.
The programs and services offered at the Hospice are free of charge to those who reside in the Districts of Nipissing and East Parry Sound. Although we are partially funded by the Provincial government for direct clinical care (salaries for RN’s, RPN’s and PSW’s), we still need to raise around $1.3m annually to support our programs, operate our facility and enhance our residents’ experience. The Hospice relies on fundraisers (like our Hike for Hospice!) and the generosity of our community, with 100% of the funds raised going right back into our programs and services!
Sponsors receive: promotion on our social media channels to over 4,000 followers, e-blasts to over 4,500 contacts, logo on promotional materials, Hydro insert, on our new website, route signage, digital ads and radio ads.
Our goal for 2026 is to raise $125,000 and with your support we will reach it! Enclosed is an outline of the sponsorship levels available. Deadline for sponsorship is June 26, 2026.
